Halo TV First Teaser Released – Is This It after All Those Years?

The Halo TV first teaser was released yesterday by Paramount+. I retweeted it out immediately, but this was the first chance I had to cover it fully. I’ll start by saying that whilst I did not love every Halo game, I do absolutely love the story of Halo, at least up until a certain point. I’m a fan that believes that Halo is perfect for a high budget TV show or even movie. It’s some crazy mash up between Star Wars, Iron Man, Predator, Starship Troopers, and Prometheus.

As we all know Halo has  at times been a film, then it was TV, then it was TV again but different, and so on and so forth for years. Once we heard cameras were finally rolling on Halo, that was the first time I actually believed we’d see it. Since then ownership has been picked up by Paramount + (originally Showtime). After all this time, and work, here is that first teaser for the Halo TV show.

It’s kinda cool, the music gets me every time anyway. However after all this time, is that it? That’s hardly going to build hype for the show and if Paramount + wants their won massive sci-fi IP from this they need to get people interested in it. Frankly, this is no more or less impressive than a game cut scene, or the Forward Unto Dawn low budget effort.

As you can see by the related link above which was the last time we had an update on this show, Halo needs a break. I still say The Fall of Reach novel is literally ready to adapt into an awesome series or movie. What worries me about the Halo TV show is that we have no real idea where it’s going. Will this get relegated to the game adaptation bin like everything else? If they just adapt the damn books first, they might have a sure fire hit on their hands.

I hope this is amazing, it should be. However, I’m worried it won’t be. What do you think of the the Halo TV first teaser? Do you have any hopes for the Halo TV show? Thoughts below as always.
