For many fans, music can make or break a movie. In some instances, it elevates the work of the film to heights it otherwise would have been unable to achieve. When it comes to film scores, Hans Zimmer stands among the titans of the industry, having scored Gladiator, Inception, The Thin Red Line, The Last Samurai, Crimson Tide and The Dark Knight Trilogy, to name a small sampling of his iconic work.
Production has officially started on Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures have officially announced the crew scheduled to begin work on the film. For fans of his music, you’ll be excited to hear that Zimmer has just been named as the composer of the film. This will be the second time he’s worked with the director, having also composed the score for Blade Runner 2049.
