Has She-Hulk Found Its Director In Kat Coiro?

Marvel's She-Hulk show

Has She-Hulk found its director in Kat Coiro? Read on for more details.

We’ve known for a while now that a She-Hulk Disney+ series was coming to the MCU. However, as yet details have been sparse. Now a new report from Deadline may indicate things are moving along. The outlet reveals that Kat Coiro (Marry Me) is in talks to direct the pilot, and other episodes of the Disney+ show. Coiro will also serve as an executive producer on She-Hulk.

Coiro has directed many well-known TV series such as, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine among many others. Coiro’s next film Marry Me is scheduled for Valentine’s day, 2021. Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao has already been tapped to lead the writers room for She-Hulk.

I guess the main task now for Marvel Studios is to hire an actress to play Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk. There has been a lot of fan casting so far for Walters in the MCU, but no solid rumors of serious talks with anyone. When we might see She-Hulk appear on Disney+ is the big question? Currently no MCU shows have been released on Disney+, as with the pandemic, many were delayed. Priority right now for Disney must be to get Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision on screens. Though Disney also has to worry about what they do with the Black Widow movie. A movie which some rumors say will be delayed yet again?

Has She-Hulk found its director in Kat Coiro? I guess it depends how these talks go, but I wouldn’t bet against it. What do you think, are you excited for She-Hulk? Is Coiro the right person for the job? Leave your thoughts below in the usual spot.
