Whenever a film is on its way to the big screen, many of us fans try to find out simply how long it’ll be. With there being certain story elements that absolutely need to happen in order to please fans, we like to know ahead of time whether or not there is enough time in the movie to contain all those moments. So, pretty much, it’s the eternal journey for all of us to try and get as much info as possible about the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is one of those movies that has a lot riding on it, so fans are looking for any little detail to figure out whether or not it can properly follow up the incredibly divisive The Last Jedi.

Now, as director J.J. Abrams has shared with Sirius SXM’s EWLive, the film is 141 minutes in length — or two hours and 21 minutes. This puts it just below Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ 152-minute runtime, so around 11 minutes or so shorter. So, for better or worse, the runtime seems to be set in stone.

This is quite the step down from a while back, when it was listed at 155 minutes by AMC Theatres. Not a bad thing, just an interesting one. What do you think of this runtime? Is 141 minutes enough time for the Skywalker Saga to end successfully? Let us know your thoughts down below!
