According to HBO boss Casey Bloys, he won’t rule out a return to the Jon Snow sequel idea (Snow) for Game of Thrones. The last we heard from Jon himself Kit Harington, it was currently no longer in development. Harington’s own words when he spoke to Screen Rant previously were;
“Currently, it’s off the table because we all couldn’t find the right story to tell that we were all excited about enough,” Harington explained. “So, we decided to lay down tools with it for the time being. There may be a time in the future where we return to it, but at the moment, no. It’s firmly on the shelf.”
However here is what Bloys said at the recent HBO/Max press preview event. We covered the sizzle reel for that on the site already. Check the related section below.
“Maybe we’ll try again? So far House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are the only ones that we felt could go the distance. I mean, practically speaking, you don’t want to overdo anything. There’s no blinking green lights on any other ones. At the moment, we take our time with them, with the development, and only do them when we can serve it.”

There is also that movie which was confirmed by WB to be in development. However, they also said it was early days in that development and we got no further updates on where it may go.
The idea of a sequel to the main series, using an already popular character has to be enticing to HBO. There’s also the fact that currently no story exists. In other words the story would be brand new and only have to account for the events that happened in the show itself.
I guess the point is that Bloys is saying nothing is ever off the table. The focus just remains on the ones they have developed enough to get to series.
