It’s been a while since we’ve seen or heard anything from HBO’s upcoming sci-fi western WESTWORLD. I last covered the series when HBO released a teaser last August. Last night, before the airing of GAME OF THRONES, the network unveiled a new trailer for the series.

WESTWORLD has an abundance of talent involved in its crafting. There’s the source material, which comes from Michael Crichton. There’s the fantastic cast, which includes Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Rodrigo Santoro, Thandie Newton, and Ed Harris. Then there’s the folks responsible from creating this particular adaptation and bringing it to HBO: Jonathan Nolan, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk.

WESTWORLD will arrive on HBO in October.
