HOUSE OF CARDS Breaks New Ground in Season 4 Teaser!

HOUSE OF CARDS fans, it’s time to eat your hearts out. Everyone’s favorite politician, Frank Underwood is back in town for season 4, and this first new teaser couldn’t be more grim.

Check out the thirty-second teaser below!

I for one adore the way this is put together. Given the ominous music, and the fact that the shot opens with Doug Stamper digging into the ground, it seems logical to conclude that he’s burying a certain someone from season 3. This thought is immediately stamped out when Frank grabs the shovel, turns to face someone off-camera and smiles. Flashes go off, and it’s revealed to be some publicity deal.

We cut back to a smiling Frank, and a stone-faced Doug before the titles come up. Within three shots, they’ve managed to encapsulate the entire show. An impressive feat, to say the least.

It’s short, sweet, and tells you exactly what you’re in for.

Starring two time Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey, HOUSE OF CARDS follows the ruthless democrat Frank Underwood and his rise to power. Season 4 looks to continue that trend in a big way.

HOUSE OF CARDS season 4 streams on Netflix on 4, 2016. Seasons 1-3 are already available for streaming in full.
