Ah, the 90s… It was a crazy decade full of scandal. From the trial of OJ Simpson to former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Also, there was Princess Diana’s freedom from Prince Charles then death at the hands of the paparazzi. I could keep going because that decade was weird and seeing all the celebrity drama go down as a kid was annoying. One that was really shocking and confusing was Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s leaked sex tape. Hulu is giving us a series on this scandal called Pam & Tommy and the teaser is out now.

“Based On The True F**king Scandal”

When this scandal was in full swing, I was around 8 years old. I just couldn’t understand why someone would make a tape like that. I was 8 so, of course, I didn’t get it. Also, I couldn’t understand why people would steal their tape and put it in the hands of the public. Some people are just garbage and Seth Rogan does a great job at playing the skeezeball, Rand Gauthier. If someone owes you money, go to court!

In the teaser, Lee says, “Not a big deal to me? I’m on that tape, same as you.” Anderson fires back in a whisper, “No, not like me you’re not.” That’s so very true. When it comes to how women are perceived, especially back then, it’s not the same and it sucks. I can’t imagine what Pamela Anderson was feeling.

Starring as Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, and Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee, is Lily James and Sebastian Stan. Also starring is Nick Offerman and Taylor Schilling. The series premieres on February 2.

And I just want to say, of course the glove didn’t fit. Leather can shrink when it gets wet and he was wearing a glove while trying on another glove… Come on, Juice!
