It’s tough to grow up in a household with a mother as a well-known therapist and a grandfather returning to the family after prison. Finn (played by Faly Rakotohavana) has weighed in his relationships with his mother as a teen and reestablished that relationship with his grandfather in the Hulu series UnPrisoned season two.
Kerry Washington is in the lead role as Paige as she balances her therapist life with her real-life relationships with her grandfather, teenage son, and love life. The rest of the cast includes Delroy Lindo, Rakotohavana, Marque Richardson, Jordyne McIntosh, and Jee Young Han.
Here is the official synopsis of season two of UnPrisoned:
The Alexander family is still a mess. Paige’s therapy practice is in trouble, Finn’s anxiety is through the roof, Edwin is still figuring out how to get his life together outside of prison, and their relationships are more complicated than ever. The family needs help, and it’s time to call in a professional – OTHER than Paige. The Alexanders turn to a “family radical healing coach,” who throws out all the rules to free them of the issues, old wounds, and family secrets holding them back.
