I Know What You Did Last Summer

It’s been twenty-four years since the slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer captivated audiences around the globe. Now it’s back in an all-new series on Amazon Prime Video. It will be based on the same 1973 novel by Lois Duncan that was also the inspiration of the cult classic film from 1997. Today Amazon Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer to the series that you can check out below!

As we can see we are shown teenagers doing teenage things. Including attempting not to take responsibility for their actions. But like in the original film, someone out there is going to hold them accountable. I wonder if this series is going to be able to captivate a new group of teenagers to the slasher genre. As well as the nostalgic group that were/are big fans of the original film.
