Disney and Pixar are set to release “Inside Out 2” in theaters nationwide, promising audiences an exciting return to the mind of Riley, who is now navigating the tumultuous waters of her teenage years. The 2015 original introduced us to the emotions of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, but this sequel brings the addition of new emotions as Headquarters undergoes a dramatic overhaul.

The fresh faces of Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment join the existing emotional team, leading to an intriguing and dynamic new chapter in Riley’s life. The film features a stellar voice cast including Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Ayo Edebiri, Lilimar, Grace Lu, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, Paul Walter Hauser, and Yvette Nicole Brown.

Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, with executive producers Pete Docter, Jonas Rivera, and Dan Scanlon, “Inside Out 2” is penned by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein, with a story by Mann and LeFauve. The film’s score is composed by Andrea Datzman. This eagerly anticipated film will be released exclusively in theaters on June 14, 2024.
