Iron Fist Actress Jessica Henwick Joins The Cast Of Godzilla Vs. Kong

Only a few weeks since the cancellation of Iron Fist on Netflix, it looks like one it’s stars has already found a new role. According to Variety Jessica Henwick will be joining the growing cast for Legendary’s Godzilla vs. Kong. This will be her first new role since Iron Fist got the ax, where she starred as Colleen Wing for two seasons.

She will be joining a cast that already includes Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Alexander Skarsgard, Julian Dennison, and Brian Tyree Henry. For the moment the details about Henwick’s character is being kept under wraps. The film has recently began production and it’s the fourth entry in what is currently being called the MonsterVerse by Legendary, which follows 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong Skull Island and next years Godzilla: King of Monsters. Details on the film has also been kept under wraps but it’s obvious that we will get to see Godzilla and Kong face to face.

Besides starring in Iron Fist as previously stated, Henwick also appeared in The Defenders and the second season of Luke Cage. She also had a role in HBO’s Game of Thrones as one of the Sand Snakes. Godzilla vs. Kong will be her biggest role yet in film following a very minor role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She is also set to appear in the film Underwater next year with Kristen Stewart and T.J.Miller. She is represented by CAA, Julian Belfrage Associates and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
