Ready or not, here it comes. Iron Fist may have been the least acclaimed Marvel Netflix series out there, but it still performed well enough to warrant a Season 2, as was announced this past July.

Co-star Jessica Henwick, who plays Colleen Wing in the series, recently took to Instagram to show off her training for the upcoming season of TV. Here’s what she had to say in the caption:

“Month 1 of getting back into shape for Iron Fist. The internal monologue:
Ouch. This would be much easier if I’d just kept up training after S1. WHY DIDN’T I KEEP TRAINING. Eff this I’m calling my agent. You know what… I enjoy feeling stronger… But I’ve got a long way to go. 💪 ** Mura Masa x CharliXCX providing me with the jams**.”

Season 2 of Iron Fist was believed to begin later this year, but if she’s training for multiple months prior to the shoot, it seems highly unlikely they’ll actually be beginning this year. Plus, with holidays coming up, and next year already getting new seasons of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil, we think an early next year production start is most likely.
