Iron Fist Season 2 Showrunner Confirms It Takes Place Before Avengers: Infinity War

Have you had a chance to check out Season 2 of Iron Fist yet? If you haven’t, I actually kinda recommend it. No, it’s not perfect, but it’s a step up from that first season, and on the whole, is a lot of fun to watch. And if you HAVE had a chance to check it out, you may have walked away with one big question…when the hell does it take place?

You may have noticed a serious lack of dust flying around this season, as well as the absence of anyone freaking about about others dying, and with that, we can only assume it takes place before Infinity War, right? Well, it looks like logic prevails once again, as this has been confirmed by Iron Fist Season 2 showrunner Raven Metzner on Twitter:

“yes, per Mr. Jeph Loeb this season happened before the Snap #askraven @MarvelIronFist @netflix @NXOnNetflix”

With this now confirmed, we can’t help but wonder if this is something that will ever be addressed in any of the Marvel TV shows. I suppose we’ll have to at least wait until Avengers 4 hits theaters, because we need to find out just how the remaining heroes reverse it. Do they go back in time so that the events never happened? If so, the shows can get away with pretending none of it actually happened.
