The on-screen favorite psychoanalyst Alec Mercer is now assisting one of the largest government agencies with NASA in the upcoming episode of The Irrational.

The episode has a guest star with Geoff Stults (Little Fires Everywhere) as Shel Benson, who works in NASA ground control as he requests help from Alec. NASA is dire straits as a time-ticking situation in a space station becomes life and death.

The series stars with Jesse L. Martin as the lead character Alec Mercer. The rest of the cast includes Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, Arash DeMaxi, and Maahra Hill.

The Irrational follows world-renowned professor of behavioral science Alerc Mercer as he leads his unique expertise to high-stakes cases and mysteries. His insight and unconventional approach to understanding human behavior lead him to work alongside varying clients ranging from the FBI to everyday people caught in perplexing situations desperate for answers. With the help of his trusted team and social science experiments, Alec solves crimes and uncovers the truth to answer intriguing, and irrational, questions.

Martin) the leak on a space station that urgently needs replacement parts and can cause casualties to the astronauts if it’s not fixed on time.

With an astronaut trapped in space, Alec is tapped to evaluate whether the pair of astronauts assigned to rescue them—a married couple—can safely complete the mission. An accident during a training exercise puts the mission at risk.
