Karen David leads this cast in the emotional drama about one woman’s life journey being thrust into another family after her husband suddenly dies.
The film also stars Gabriela Flores (Atypical, Walker), Valery Ortiz (Switched at Birth, Date Movie), and Manuel Rafael Lozano (9-1-1, Teen Wolf: The Movie).

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with actress Karen David and director-writer Kit Rich about the story originations, emotional mental role, family chemistry, grief, love, and loss.
Karen David studied at the Guildford School of Acting and then at Ryerson University in Toronto. She started in music theater with the West End musical Mamma Mia! And then the Bollywood-themed musical Bombay Dreams. On-screen, she appeared in many movies and television in minor roles that included Batman Begins, The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Strike Back: Project Dawn, Touch, and Castle. Her breakout role came when she played the lead in the fantasy musical as Princess Isabella in Galavant. The following year, she was beloved as Princess Jasmine in the ABC series Once Upon a Time. She continued her big roles in television that included Emma Tig in Legacies, Grace Mukherjee in Fear the Walking Dead, and now with The Irrational as Rose Dinshaw. On the video game side, she is in the most recent installment in the Call of Duty franchise Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as Sevati Dumas with the performance capture and voice.
Kit Rich makes her directorial feature film debut with Isabel’s Garden which garnered attention at film festivals. She is a known celebrity fitness trainer working with high-profile clients including Jennifer Lawrence, Jodie Comer, and Kesha. She has two new projects currently in production including a romantic comedy and a family holiday film.
Isabel’s Garden is on VOD and released digitally on Friday, January 3.
