One of the biggest surprises to come out of the DCEU was Shazam!. With positive reviews from critics and fans, a sequel was greenlit and now we are a little bit closer to the sequel. Today for those who were in attendance at Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con got to see the first clips for Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

In the upcoming film, we see that Billy Batson will need the help of his family to take down the Atlas Daughters portrayed by Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren. I think most fans of the first film will appreciate the same style of humor that makes the first one great is a major part of the sequel.
Shazam! Fury of The Gods stars Zachary Levi as Shazam and Asher Angel as Billy Batson. Billy’s foster family returns with Jack Dylan Grazer as Frederick “Freddy” Freeman. Billy’s foster family also includes Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Meagan Good as her adult superhero form; Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield; Ian Chen as Eugene Choi with Ross Butler as his adult superhero form; Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña with D. J. Cotrona as his adult superhero form; and Marta Milans and Cooper Andrews as Rosa and Victor Vásquez.
Djimon Hounsou also returns as the ancient wizard who gave Billy his powers after naming him as champion.
