Some individuals have thought that there was a subtle Easter Egg in the original GOTG which revolved around Galactus.  James Gunn took to Twitter to pretty much debunk the fan theory:

Well, this looks to have killed that idea, but it’s still fun to imagine, right?  At this point I would doubt he is trying to be elusive about some forth coming details, but I have been wrong before (numerous times…daily)!

I would like to see Galactus eventually make his way into the MCU… not that piece of crap cloud Galactus we got in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.  I want it done right!
