Jason Momoa will be very busy the next few months promoting Warner Bros. Pictures’ Aquaman, where he will star as Arthur Curry aka Aquaman. But thanks to The Hollywood Reporter we know about one of the projects he will be working on post Atlantis.
Just a month after exiting the reboot of The Crow, Momoa will be starring in Apple’s drama series titled See. This series is described as an epic world building drama set in the future. He will be playing the lead role as a character named Baba Voss who is described as a fearless warrior, leader and guardian. The series is said to be an eight episode project, although most of the details are currently being kept under wraps.
See is written by Oscar nominee Steven Knight, who worked on Dirty Pretty Things and Peaky Blinders. The series will be directed by Francis Lawrence who worked on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire & Red Sparrow. Both Knight and Lawrence will executive produce the Chernin Entertainment/ Endeavor content with Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
This will be Momoa’s return to a a television series as a regular since The Red Road, Frontier and of course the show most people know him for Game of Thrones. For the moment it is unknown when or how Apple plans to release this series.
