According to the latest DCU rumor, Jason Momoa is wanted for a role in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, could it be Lobo? Milly Alcock of course will lead Supergirl. However, so far there has been little other casting news for the film by Craig Gillespie. Now Daniel RPK has told his Patreon users what he’s heard. That DC Studios want Jason Momoa for a role in Supergirl. Now, RPK wasn’t told this role was for Lobo. However, he does theorize this could be the case. Frankly, if this rumor is true, then I can’t see it being anyone else. Though again, that’s just my opinion.
Momoa’s version of Aquaman is old DCEU now. As of current, that character does not yet exist in the DCU, that we know of. Yet, we also know that Momoa had talks not long after the DCU was announced. Momoa came out of those talks very happy. At the time many outlets wondered if he was finally getting to play the role he always craved, that of Lobo?

It would also make a lot of sense for Lobo to show up in Woman of Tomorrow. After all, Supergirl had a very different upbringing than Clark. Gunn has made sure to point this out ahead of time. Therefore, she’s been around the Galaxy a little more than Clark. It’s possible Kara could have run into Lobo already. Of course, for now it’s just rumor and speculation until we get more concrete information. However, if we do get confirmation Momoa is in the movie at some point? Then my bet will be on it being for Lobo.
