Have you heard about how Ben Affleck’s script for The Batman was amazing? That’s the word on the street anyway and while details are scarce, but as we reported on earlier today, artist Jay Oliva praised the screenplay. Now, even actor Joe Manganiello, who played Deathstroke in an after-credits scene of Justice League, agrees that it would have been a great Batman story. The actor gave him stamp of approval in the form of a giant checkmark via his Twitter page, you can check it out below.

Someone with Oliva’s credentials praising Affleck’s script seems like it would be a good thing, and it is, but not all good, as it’s also a huge bummer for fans because there’s a very good chance they will never get to see the script transferred onto the screen, so we’ll probably never know exactly how good it was.
The Batman has already had a bumpy ride up to this point, it’s getting more and more difficult to believe the film can be a success. Batman has always been DC’s big screen golden boy, and a successful Batman film would do wonder for the studio which at this point is only being propped up by Wonder Woman (though Shazam! is looking to help with that, as well as Aquaman).
