The momentum for director Zack Snyder’s true version of Justice League continues to grow. Now, actor Joe Manganiello has added his support. If you’ve seen Justice League, then you know there’s a brief cameo featuring Manganiello as Deathstroke the Terminator. But it’s also known that the Justice League we got in theaters may not have been the film audiences deserved, especially judging by the critical reception and fan response as evident by the #releasethesnydercut movement.
Joe Manganiello posted never before seen photos from the set of Justice League. Check out that beautiful costume. It is, dare I say, badass.

It sucks we didn’t get to see more of Deathstroke in Justice League. It sucks even more that we probably won’t ever see Manganiello acting in any DC movies as the one-eyed assassin. There is some silver lining though. Should Warner Bros ever decide to release the Snyder cut we may be in for a treat. People may have really crapped on Snyder’s attempt to oversee the interconnected DC universe.
Despite the derisive environment that saw Warner Bros. attempt to save Snyder’s DC creations by injecting a bit of that colorful Marvel formula into their films which failed. I will give Snyder credit for some excellent casting choices. Ben Affleck looked like a Batman ripped from the pages of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. On top of that his casting as Deathstroke was near genius. Take a look at Manganiello’s Deathstroke. Then go and find a comic book where he cameos. Mask on or mask off, he’s a spitting image of Slade Wilson. The silver lining to all of this is that we may someday see him in action should Warner Bros release the Snyder cut.
