In the debut season of the popular series from Amazon Studios, Krasinski portrayed Jack Ryan, a Marine vet who works as an analyst for the CIA. When his work discovers a line of financing that leads directly to an infamous terrorist leader, Ryan is thrown head-first into a “race against time” in order to thwart a terrorist attack. The series received generally positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, earning a fresh 74%, an 88% audience score, and currently sits at 8.2/10 on IMDb. This time around, Krasinski’s Ryan seems to be placed in Spain during a volatile situation. Joining the cast this time around is Michael Kelly (House Of Cards) and Jordi Mollá (Bad Boys II, The Alamo).

John Krasinski’s name has been in the news quite often in the past month or so. The actor/writer/director has stated production on the sequel to his massive 2018 hit A Quiet Place, which puts him back in the director’s chair and his wife Emily Blunt back in front of the camera. Then, within the last week, Krasinski signed a first-look deal between Amazon Studios and his production company Sunday Night. The deal gives Krasinski and company freedom to develop television projects for the studio.
