John Wick 3 Stunning Set Photo Brings The Neon

Neon has always been a friend of John Wick. Given that we’re following an assassin whose job takes him to the seedy underbelly of the world he’s exploring, you’ve gotta appreciate the high contrast the overall look brings. From dark clubs to the city streets, it’s a look that’s helped to set John Wick apart from other films out there, visually.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is currently in production, and while the actual details surrounding the film are still shrouded in mystery, the director of photography Dan Laustsen was kind enough to snap this awesome-looking photo that feels both fresh and familiar. Check it out below!

Oh, yeah. I’m feeling right at home here. It’s like we never left this world. As you can see in the photo, Keanu Reeves (or perhaps a stand-in) stands on the corner of another neon-drenched city street in the middle of the night. The fog helps to spread out the colors, and what we’re left with is another moody, noir shot that I’m hoping will look just as gorgeous on film.

What do you think of this new image? Admittedly, it’s not a whole lot, and reveals virtually nothing about the film, but there’s something very comforting about seeing a film actually in production. What do you think about this new image? Let us know your thoughts down below!
