Jonathan Sadowski - The Devil Below

Jonathan Sadowski is no strange to the horror genre.

He burst into the horror scene with 2009’s remake Friday the 13th as Wade, a marijuana obsessed camper who fell victim to Jason. Then he followed up with the surprise horror hit Chernobyl Diaries of tourists taking a trip into an abandoned city. Now, he plays a scientist investigating a strange occurrence at a mining facility in The Devil Below.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Devil Below:

There is an abandoned place nestled deep in the Appalachian country where underground coal mines have been ablaze for decades. When a team of researchers tries to find out how the fires started, they soon discover something more startling than the mystery that sent them there—they’re not alone.

The film also stars Alicia Sanz, Adan Canto, Zach Avery, Chinaza Uche, Jesse Latourette, and Will Patton. Bradley Parker directed the movie from a script written by Eric Scherbarth and Stefan Jaworski.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with Jonathan Sadowski on being back in the horror genre he enjoys. We talked about his character, being at the caves, and his stunt scene. Also, we walked down memory lane with his past films with Chernobyl Diaries and Friday the 13th.

Jonathan Sadowski graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in theater from the University of Illinois. He played various television roles in NCIS, The Division, LAX, and American Dreams before landing the role of Paul in She’s the Man. Then he scored a big role for Live Free or Die Hard as Trey. Over the years, he boarded Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles television series, $#*! My Dad Says sitcom and action television series Lethal Weapon.

The Devil Below is now playing in select theaters, VOD, and digital.
