Five-time Emmy award winning journalist and KBWN Channel 4 news anchor Ron Burgundy hit the late-night circuit to promote season 2 of his podcast. All jokes aside, Will Ferrell has created many legendary characters. Who hasn’t joked about streaking through the quads? Or learning to drive a Nascar with a cougar riding shotgun? Still, Ferrell’s most enigmatic and enduring character thus far is without a doubt the legendary Ron Burgundy.
To coincide with the release of the second season of The Ron Burgundy podcast, Ferrell hit the road and made several pitstops. Among them were appearances of Ron Burgundy on NBC’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and TBS’ Conan. Ferrell made what I’d call a tongue twister of appearances.

Burgundy did not disappoint. The KBWN news journalist dove into stand-up comedy bits accompanied by a treasure chest of props. Give the bits a watch and soak in that deadpan delivery only a genius like Ron Burgundy can bring. The set was ala Carrot Top’s prop assisted comedy. Check it out and take in that gorgeous scarf and suit combination.
The second season of The Ron Burgundy podcast is available to stream. Produced by iHeartRadio and co-produced by Funny Or Die, and available now wherever podcasts are available. Burgundy, I mean Ferrell kicked off season 2 with a one on one with 2020 Presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
