Journey Into John Wick’s Past

John Wick’s an elemental force of nature with zero qualms when it comes to dispatching bad guys. Fans of the Baba Yaga are sure to be excited as John Wick 3: Parabellum is going to lift the veil on the assassin’s past.  Here are the words straight from director Chad Stahelski  when discussing just what John Wick 3 is about – “a little bit of an origin story.”

We’ve seen his early life alluded to in John Wick: Chapter 2, and saw him pursuing a life of happiness, only to have that pissed on by a crappy universe that gave his wife the terminal illness which killed her. The first entry even showed the morose hitman trying to just shut out the world, except for his cuddly beagle puppy named Daisy. But even that didn’t end well for John as Alfie Allen; an actor cornering the market on despicable characters beat that puppy into a pulp.

W-W-J-D? Turn the other cheek. Nope, not Jesus. I am talking about John still. What would John Do? Probably shoot those motherfuckers.  Cuz that’s how the Baba Yaga rolls. Come May 17, 2019, fans will get to see a bit more of John’s past. Thanks to Empire, we now have an image of Angelica Houston’s character, The Director. CLICK HERE see the exclusive image.

What do you think? I cannot gather much from this image. Maybe Wick is asking permission to go off and murder some bad guys. I can’t tell, but my guess is awesome. What’s your guess?

John Wick 3: Parabellum stars Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Jason Mantzoukas, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lance Reddick, Ruby Rose, Common, Tiger Hu Chen, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman.
