This coming holiday season, audiences will have a chance to journey back into the world of Jumanji. We don’t quite understand the circumstances, but the kids from the last movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, are back in the game, and as such, that means the core adult cast is back as well, and looking a lot more confident this time around. How do I know that? Well, it’s because we got a brand-new photo, courtesy of one Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In the caption, he also teases some unseen shenanigans:

“Yes you’re favorite band is back ~ lookin’ lean (ish) and mean. Even though things may not be as they seem 🤔 So buckle up world because soon we’ll all play. When a brand NEW JUMANJI drops this Holiday! Oh the fun you’re gonna have.

So what is Johnson teasing in his post? Well, I feel like I hold the answers…and this is based on pure speculation. It would be too easy for these kids to hop right into the same roles as they did before. Would it not make more sense for them to hop into different bodies this time around? Additionally, what if one of their gang somehow got stuck in the game and there were some NEW NEW players who had to come in and save the day?
