Jumanji: The Next Level Gets A Whisper-Filled ASMR Trailer

So, I have no idea whose idea this was, but whoever it was at Sony who thought it was a good idea to create an ASMR trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level needs to get a raise. For those who don’t know, ASMR is this weird thing, where you put headphones on and have people whisper in your years and make soothing sound effects. I’m pretty sure it’s some weird fetish thing, but I’m old, so I don’t know.

But Sony decided to take that concept and adapt with this trailer, with all of the sound effects and lines being whispered instead of spoken. The only non-voice thing we get in here is some of the music, but even that’s dialed back to make the whole experience more soothing.
