Just when can we expect to see a trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? Instagram account dirtees, who attended the Brand Licensing Expo in London have heard that the film’s first trailer will drop alongside the Star Wars: The Last Jedi release on December 13, 2017.

With the film hitting in June of next year, releasing a trailer about seven months early does seem about on track — at least for a film franchise as big as Jurassic World. We wouldn’t be surprised if this first trailer wasn’t a lot more than a teaser, allowing room for a full trailer somewhere closer to March of next year, still a few solid months prior to its release.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a direct sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World, which broke records upon its release. The film went on to make nearly $1.7 billion worldwide, securing its place as one of the biggest franchises in the history of film.

Directing this sequel A Monster Calls and El Orfanato helmer J.A. Bayona. With him directing, we certainly hope they’ll capitalize on his darker aspects to bring out the horror inherent in something like Jurassic World 2. While the first film was a fun callback to the original, audiences ultimately wanted something with a little more heft to it. Bayona certainly could be the man to bring that to the table.

No dinos, no plot, just a one shot of Ian Malcom laughing on loop for 90 seconds. BEST TEASER TRAILER OF ALL TIME, why would we even see Star Wars….. maybe Porgs, but still

Jurassic World 2 will be the better movie… because it does not have PORGS.

Well, it will have some obnoxious kids, though. Nothing is perfect.

the children were never really the problem with the Jurassic Park/World films, they are a way for children to project themselves into a scary movie since they can’t see slasher films with gratuitous nudity.

They WERE a problem… “I know Linux, oh you stupid adults”… “Oh, look, I am a sports crack, I can do some great moves while kicking a velociraptor, you stupid adults”… Obnoxious. The kid in JP3 was quite alright, though, and although the mechanist kids in JW were a problem, they were at least not as hateable as the kids in the Spielberg JP movies. I am still hoping for a Jurassic Park movie where only adult characters have the lead roles. This won’t happen, though, I am afraid because making kids the real saviours and stars puts more kids’ asses in the seats – with parents. MORE PROFIT $$$!

It’s interesting you mentioned 3, because that’s the ONLY time they gave the kid a role on par with adults. And that one is considered the bad one, it’s a weird problem where they are making these films for kids but then they treat the kids as bait for dinos, while the adults argue about philosophy of man creating monsters.

Jurassic World had a plot equivalent to a SyFy film.

I hope the sequel is more grounded in reality. I’m all for the suspension of belief but it’s silly that even this reality that U.S. military action hasn’t stepped in leveled this damn island already.
