Jurassic World 3 Shoot Date And Current Status Of Indy 5

After the recent Jurassic World short from director Colin Trevorrow, Dino fans probably want to know when Jurassic World 3 is finally happening. Well it looks like we have a timeline for that movie now thanks to producer Frank Marshall.

The veteran producer of the Jurassic Park/World and Indiana Jones movies recently spoke with Forbes about the Jurassic World Live Tour. He also mentioned the following with regards to the Jurassic World 3 shoot date and the current status of Indiana Jones 5.

“With regards to the next Jurassic World movie, we are in full pre-production at Pinewood Studios in London, England. We plan to begin shooting in February of next year, so that is all very much in motion. As far as the fifth Indiana Jones movie goes, we’re still working on the script.”

This fits in exactly with what we know already, especially when it comes to Indiana Jones 5. It wasn’t that long ago that we heard David Koepp was back working on the script again, after several other writers had come and gone. It does appear from the outside like Lucasfilm is having trouble with this script, and I suppose I’d normally say, wait until the script is ready. But with the age of Harrison Ford, how long can they really keep putting this off until it’s simply no longer viable?

As for Jurassic World 3, well it was only a matter of time, we knew this was coming, we just didn’t know when things would begin. I’ve been less than impressed thus far with Jurassic World and its sequel, but they seem to be really popular with audiences, so what do I know?

What do you think about Marshall’s comments and what are your hopes and expectations for Jurassic World 3 and Indy 5? Leave your thoughts below in the usual place.
