Justice League: Does This New Tease Chernobyl As A Key Location?

With the impending release of the Justice League issue of Empire, we’re starting to see layers and layers of the film start to unravel. Eager audiences have been picking apart recently-released photos from the outlet, and some folks on Reddit have punched in on one of them for an interesting bit of info.

On the computer screen behind Wonder Woman, some eagle-eyed fans on Reddit were quick to notice the photos were pulled from Chernobyl, the iconic nuclear plant in Pripyat, Ukraine that suffered a terrible meltdown that led to a large evacuation. More specifically, fans recognized it as the Pripyat Amusement Park.

So what does this mean? Many are speculating that this could be where the final battle takes place in the flick, and others think it could be the location of a Mother Box or Boom Tube generator. The folks over at Screen Rant are even speculating that Darkseid could have been responsible for that meltdown many years ago.

Regardless, it looks like the old nuclear plant will be a key location in the coming flick, so get out your tin foil hats and start speculating as to how it could play into the universe as a whole!

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
