Justice League: We Finally See Cyborg InAction With New Teaser & Poster

Pretty much every member we have seen of the Justice League so far sort of has their place in mainstream fandom. It pretty much goes without saying that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash all have their places in the mainstream pop culture zeitgeist, and even Aquaman is pretty well known on some level. There is one member of the Justice League that stands out as a relative unknown: Cyborg. Yes, comic book fans are well aware of the superhero, but as the character has yet to make into an actual film (barring his single scene in Batman v Superman), there are a lot who know little to nothing of the tragic backstory of one Victor Stone.

As such, this Justice League teaser trailer is the first thing many audiences will have to go on, and we have to say, it’s not bad. But don’t take my word for it.

Check it out for yourself.

As you can see, Cyborg is handling some pretty intense weaponry in this teaser, and for better or worse, the look of him has bee pretty consistent throughout. My biggest concern is that he will look too much like a CG construct for me to take him seriously. I’m no VFX dude by any means (in fact, I think most fans are unjustly harsh against CG in most cases), but something about his design in movement has come across as…soft, if that makes sense. It doesn’t move as stiffly oras mechanically as I feel like it should. It’s almost too organic and squishy in its movement to feel right.

But that’s just my opinion. What did you think? Let us know in the comments down below!

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
