Katt Williams is a neighbor in the new THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR: MEET THE BLACKS 2. The film had a successful theater release this past weekend. Have you met the new neighbor, Dr. Mamuwalde?

The Synopsis 

Carl Black (Mike Epps) is about to face off with the neighbor from hell (Katt Williams) in The House Next Door. Carl has only ever wanted the best for his family, but after surviving the events that led to his (not-so-)bestselling book, he’s moving everyone to his childhood home, where’s he’ll contend not only with his wife Lorene (Zulay Henao) and kids Allie (Bresha Webb) and Carl Jr. (Alex Henderson) but everyone who drives him crazy: Cronut (Lil Duval), Freezee (Andrew Bachelor), Rico (Tyrin Turner), and an entire neighborhood of characters who seem to attract strange activity after dark. And nothing could be more freaky than his new neighbor Dr. Mamuwalde (Williams), who may or may not be a vampire. From co-writer/director Deon Taylor (Fatale, The Intruder), as the Meet theBlacks universe expands, it will be up to Carl to figure out what his neighbor is up to in the middle of the night before it’s too late for him and his family.

Most know Katt Williams as the comedian. Williams did start his career in his native Cincinnati. By 1999 he was performing in the major comedy clubs. His television debut was in BET’s Comic View as Katt “In the Hat” Williams.  However, his first full comedy special was in 2006 titled Katt Williams; Live: Let a Playa Play. That same year he had his first HBO stand up special The Pimp Chronicles, Pt. 1. He made his debut on film as Money Mike in Friday After Next. Since then he has been seen on stage and in films including as a voice actor. Music has also made a presence in his career with his debut album It’s Pimpin’ Pimpin’

I was able to speak with Katt Williams via Zoom to talk about his participation in THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR: MEET THE BLACKS 2. Williams talked about working with an amazing cast and director Dean Taylor. In addition to doing his own stunts, fashion and more.
