Kevin Bigley and Kate Cobb have been married together for many years. Both as actors, there are rare opportunities that present themselves to be on the same project. With indie film Rollers came along, they both jumped at the opportunity to work together. But, it was not as a couple onscreen.
Kevin Bigley plays, Donnie, the best friend to the lead character Rufus. He tries to advise and help Rufus during his conflicting times of hanging on to a local night club. As for Kate Cobb, she plays the love interest, Jane, who comes back into Rufus’ life.
Here’s the official synopsis of Rollers:
Rufus Paisley is a closet alcoholic and everything he loves is smashed together into one place: Rollers. He gave up a promising career as a musician in order to keep it alive, but the historic venue, once owned by his parents, is in trouble and he’s running out of ways to save it, and himself. His friends urge him to move on, but can he?
Johnny Ray Gill stars in the lead role as Rufus Paisley. Isaiah Smallman directed the indie feature.
