Pedro Pascal, the Chilean actor who’s made a name for himself on shows like GAME OF THRONES, NARCOS, and will be re-teaming with his THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU co-star Matt Damon in the upcoming film THE GREAT WALL, is joining the cast of KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE. The exceedingly versatile actor made, perhaps, his biggest splash as Oberyn Martell in Season 4 of GAME OF THRONES, and is said to be playing American spy Jack Daniels in Matthew Vaughn’s sequel to the R-rated spy romp, KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE.
According to Deadline, the deal is done, and he’ll appear in the film alongside Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Julianne Moore, Edward Holcroft, and the rumored Halle Berry.
I’m extremely happy for the guy; My Facebook friend, who I met on the set of The Good Wife once upon a time when I was an actor. He can play anything. I remember being super impressed by how he played the clean-cut American lawyer Nathan Landry on that show, while simultaneously popping up on FX’s LIGHTS OUT as the rough-around-the-edges Armenian boxer Omar Assarian.
