The crew at LRM are always looking for something that represents everything we love here at LRM. Kat Calamia, who is also known around here as Comic Uno, has already launched her own comic book series titled Like Father, Like Daughter.
For this Kickstarter Campaign Kat and her team are raising funds to print 100 + Page Like Father, Like Daughter Collected Trade Paperback featuring issues 1 – 4 with additional short stories and content. of Like Father, Like Daugher. For those of you who haven’t read an issue below is Kat’s synopsis of the story so far.
Like Father, Like Daughter is written by Comic Uno and produced by Short Fuse Media Group, LLC. Featuring Casey Ryder the teenage daughter of the world’s first superhero Invulnerable who abandoned his family to protect them and devote all his time to being a superhero. Casey has written off her father until an event during school causes her to realize that she has powers as well. This creates a tense relationship between Casey and her father, Invulnerable, to figure out how she will deal with these new powers.
Like the previous Kickstarter Campaigns for the original issues all of the funding will go towards the production of this project as Kat has reassembled the creative team to make this project perfect! Once the production is completed they will be heading right to the printer so that you can have your copy in your hands!
To reach the 100 + Pages benchmark that they are aiming for, this trade will also features multiple companion stories that were not previously released within the series as well as a few crossover stories that feature awesome female characters from throughout the indie comic community. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the inked pages!!!
