The one-day event of the 3rd Annual Omni Cultural TV Fest is on schedule to network aspiring content producers with buyers and distributors. The organization is partnered with the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) for a virtual event for everyone to experience in the safety and comfort of their homes.
The festival hosts virtual screenings, panels, competitions, workshops, and networking opportunities between content creators with buyers and distributors looking to acquire new television, film, and streaming content.
In the past couple of years, the expo screened over 200 projects with winners signing deals with companies such as Amazon Video and ShortsTV.
This year, the expo showcases some of its success stories, including:
- Shari Belafonte: Found her agent for Chicks on the Links after the exposure of her trailer in Omni.
- Isaac Fuentes: Secured a deal with Amazon for this project Escaramuza based on the competition with women in full Mexican gear from the 1800s competing on horseback. It is a competition that these women take seriously with competitors all over the world.
- Danny Arroyo: Sold his short film to ShortsTV. He had a huge platform with ties to the Oscars and got his movie on Amazon.
- Brandon Davis: A student film sold to ShortsTV

The deadline to sign up for Pitch-It! is on Sunday, January 15 via Eventbrite and Filmfreeway.
In this year’s event, guests can build customizable avatars to network with other attendees. For ticket purchases or to learn more about Omni Cultural TV Fest, visit www.omniculturaltvfest.com.
