Home invasions are a scary situation. But, what if there is some buried treasure somewhere in your house? Do you stay to fend off the attackers?
In By Night’s End, a couple faced with a dilemma when a home invader revealed something valuable buried inside their home. Instead of reporting to the police, it became a race against time to find that treasure before others arrive.
The film marks the debut lead role for Michelle Rose in a feature film. She is supported by Michael Aaron Milligan (Ozark, The Purge), and award-winning actor Kurt Yue (The Haunting of Hill House, Cobra Kai). Walker Whited directed the film from the script written by Whited and Sean McCane.

The film follows a couple that is awakened by an intruder in the night. But in acts of self-defense, the couple waits an hour before calling the police as they search for what they hope is a hidden fortune.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with actor Kurt Yue on his role in the film. He played Mark, the husband who desperately wants the hidden fortune despite the encounter with the initial home invader.
Kurt Yue was born in Beijing, China, and moved to the United States at an early age. Despite a successful career as a software developer, he fell in love with acting after some courses. He started off being in multiple short films, such as Spellfound, Clockblocker, and Slap Happy. Then he made numerous appearances in films, such as The Bye Bye Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, and A Bad Moms Christmas. Also, he had appearances in television with The Vampire Diaries, Mr. Mercedes, Queen of the South, and The Gifted. Most recently, he had a reoccurring role in Insatiable as Herman Choi.
