LEGO Masters latest episode offered one of the most exciting episodes with no strings attached. Quite literally.

In this week’s episode, contestants offered a challenge to build their own puppets out of LEGO bricks. Their hand puppets must be able to perform on a puppet stage. The judging criteria is based on their creativity and their ability to use moving parts.

Alas, despite their dedication of a LEGO hand puppet to their little puppy—Lauren Firks and Bryan Firks had a doggone good time during their show.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with the brother-sister duo on their experiences on the show, friendships they developed, and their love of LEGO bricks since they were very young.

Hosted by Will Arnett, LEGO Masters pits teams of two LEGO enthusiasts head-to-head with infinite possibilities and challenges in a studio with nearly an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks.

Throughout the competition, the show encourages amateur builders to put their challenges to the test. The competing pairs who impress the judges the most progress to the next round, until the finale, during which the top teams face off for a cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy, and the grand title of LEGO master.

The judges are LEGO masters comprising of The LEGO Company senior design manager and creative lead Jamie Berard and The LEGO Company senior design manager Amy Corbett. Host Will Arnett is no stranger to the LEGO family as he voiced LEGO Batmen in the LEGO Movie franchise, including The LEGO Batman Movie, and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

Season two of LEGO Masters airs weekly on Tuesday on Fox. The next episode airs later tonight.
