Leah Harvey rejoiced on playing the version of Salvor Hardin in Apple TV+’s Foundation. The character is gender-swapped and has taken an important role in the fight for the survival of the universe. All for the better.
Here’s the synopsis:
Based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, Foundation is a thrilling and emotional epic saga that chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save the fate of humanity amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. When revolutionary mathematician Hari Seldon predicts the impending demise of the Empire, he and his loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Seldon’s claims, the ruling Cleons—a long line of Emporer clones—fear their unrivaled reign may be weakening as they become forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their powerful legacy forever.
The main cast includes Emmy Award nominees Jared Harris and Lee Pace, alongside rising stars Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey. The drama also stars Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton, and Alfred Enoch. David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Man of Steel) is the visionary showrunner and executive producer.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with Leah Harvey on the different roles of Salvor Hardin in the series. We talked about the changes to the character and being in this sci-fi world, particularly with the costumes.
Leah Harvey attended The Brampton Manor Academy and The Deborah Day Theatre. She gained a BA Hons degree in professional acting from LAMDA in 2016. She appeared in a couple of episodes of Les Miserables television mini-series as Matelote. Also, she alongside Florence Pugh in the wrestling biopic Fighting with My Family.
The first season of Foundation streams on Apple TV+ worldwide this Friday, September 24 with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
