A user on Reddit has posted leaked first images of Loial and Min in The Wheel of Time show to the r/WoT sub-Reddit. I cannot post the images here. However if you follow the link there, you can see leaked images from the show. There are three images, one clearly is Loial, and one could be the back of Min’s head. The other just shows Rand on his own.
Whilst we cannot confirm the girl shown is Min, it seems obvious given the leaker must be getting these images from some insider, or be one themselves. It was a throwaway account, so I can’t say for certain how long these images will be up. To avoid spoilers for non-book readers I wont get into why Min is an importnat character yet. However, I can say she is a favorite amongst the book fans.

Loial however, is not Human, he’s an Ogier. Again, not too much information here for fear of spoilers, but yeah Ogier’s are a non-Human species who also live in this timeline of the planet Earth. I have to say that the design for Loial is nothing like how I imagined him in my head reading the books. Most of the characters will always look different to a reader, but given this is a non-Human character, you build an image in your head whilst you read. I always imagined Loial looking more like the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Maybe that’s because of the way he is, he looks threatening, but is very sweet natured and passive.
From what I can see so far, fans are not 100% happy with the look of Loial. Although some seem to be convinced this may be only a partial image of what he looks like in the show. Previous leaked images of Trollocs looked bad because they didn’t have CGI elements. Is it possible Loial will have something similar? Who knows for sure? Honestly, I don’t dislike it, it’s just jarring because it’s not what I had in my head. I’m sure by the time I’ve seen a few episodes with Loial present I will get used to it.
