An alleged leaked Multiverse of Madness pre-vis is a huge SPOILER if the leak is legit. Given the nature of this leak being very spoiler filled I am dropping it behind a SPOILER jump. Let’s be clear, I cannot say whether this is legit or not. However the buzz around the community, and those more in the know around Marvel, is positive. At the same time, as yet there has been no requests (I know of) from Disney to remove any of the images from the outlet’s reporting this.

The images posted below are supposedly Multiverse of Madness pre-vis work, in other words pre-visualization. This is the practice employed to aid the directors, film crew, animation studios etc. as to what to be looking out for, or trying to emulate in shooting. Most CGI heavy movies will benefit greatly from doing pre-vis work and it was a process that began on the Star Wars prequels back in the day when CGI was still a bit funky.
This looks like a video game from 20 years ago, and that’s kinda what you would expect weirdly. There is no point adding too many details in a pre-vis after all. Usually this would occur before the costumes have been been fully given the go head for shooting. In addition some design choices are likely to made along the way. A pre-vis is just a guide, like a storyboard.
Ok, let’s get to it, If true, this leaked shot shows Wanda Maximoff squaring off against one Charles Xavier. In the shot, it looks very much like a Patrick Stewart version of Xavier. Check it out below.

I’m still not ruling out this as a fake for now. Equally I have no reason to doubt the outlets who are hearing it’s genuine. There have been solid rumors that Patrick Stewart would appear in Multiverse of Madness as Xavier. Given the Multiversal madness going on, it’s hardly that much of a surprise. Yet, Patrick Stewart has often said after Logan he felt that was the right place to say goodbye to the character. However, money talks I guess, and at one point Stewart said he wouldn’t play Captain Picard again. Now we are moving towards Picard Season 2.
