Despite the rocky first season, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is going full steam ahead with an all-new adventure, an all new goal, and an all new paradigm. With the Time Masters now gone, the Legends find themselves at the center of history. The cast has dwindled down to a core six, and with this group now in place, it seems like the show can start heading in the direction in needs in order to be a long-lasting entity.

We’ve already seen a full trailer for Season 2, but as the premiere date approaches, we’ll undoubtedly see a heck of a lot more before it finally hits the network.

Check out the fun new promo below:

As you can see in the clip, it seems like Season 2 will have a lot of fun time-hopping scenarios, but one has to wonder just how it would be structured. While I had my problems with Season 1, I did appreciate that there was a throughline in the story — even if I thought the villain in that throughline was boring and weak. With Season 2, it almost looks like they may be going more episodic, but it’s difficult to say at this point.

At the end of the first season, we did get a chance to see Rex Tyler, and as such, we’re sure to see more of the Justice Society of America. What role they’ll be playing in the future, however, remains to be seen.

What did you think of the promo? Did you like Season 1, and if not, does Season 2 seem to be righting the ship?
