Legion Season 2 Trailer: The Trippiness Continues

At this point in the Golden Age of superhero adaptations, you may have found yourselves growing weary at the prospect of yet another capes-and-tights-laden vigilante hitting the streets. However, believe it or not, there is still a lot of interesting material to be made from the panels of the comic books. One of the more unique interpretations comes from the mind of Noah Hawley.

Last year showed the first season of FX’s Legion, a mind-bending trip through the abstract, and one of the oddest pieces of television to hit that year. Of course, while last season had plenty of great moments, it left things off at a bit of a cliffhanger, with our hero, David, being “trapped.”

Season 2 looks to pick up a year or so after the events in that first season. David has been trapped all this time, but while time has pretty much been instant for him, it has passed for everyone else on the outside world. If you were worried that some of the creativity from that first season would be missing in the second, fear not, it seems to be present in full force, based on the new trailer.

What’s more, it looks like we’ll actually be seeing the Shadow King face-to-face, as the last time we saw him, he had been in the form of Aubrey Plaza’s Lenny.
