Did you forget about the upcoming LEGO Movie sequel? Yeah, we did too. While the past two LEGO movies (The LEGO Batman Movie and LEGO Ninjago Movie) weren’t bad — actually one of them was pretty darn great — they didn’t exactly set the world on fire at the box office, with the latter film barely breaking $100 million worldwide.
But, in spite of the disappointing spin-offs, the original LEGO Movie did well enough both financially and critically to warrant a sequel, one we’ve already seen one teaser for. Now, out of the blue, actor Will Arnett has posted a new poster to his Twitter account, showing off a new image of Batman.
“Swapped the batarang for the tires. New trailer coming tomorrow!”

This time around, instead of the normal STUPID shoulder pads, Batman will be sporting tires for some reason. Perhaps in the Mad Max-like world in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, you can only survive if you have tires for shoulders because it’s edgy and all (Hell if I know).
It’s a goofy costume decision and I’ll be happy to hear whatever funny explanation they have behind it. But what do you think of the new image? Are you excited to see more Batman? Let us know your thoughts down below!
