Lew Temple, Jason Douglas And Maria Dalilah Discuss Felines in Nyaight of the Living Cat | INTERVIEW

Can you imagine a world where felines are the scary “monsters” people are running away from? In the newest anime, Nyaight of the Living Cat from the world of Crunchyroll we get a comedic-horror take of what it would be where humans are turned into cats when smothered by felines.

The Synopsis

Run! The adorable cats are here. In 20XX, the world is dominated by cats. A virus which turns anyone who touches a cat into a cat has spread into a worldwide nyandemic. Cats rub against people, turning them into cats. Can humanity fight their urge to pet cats to survive in this cat-ridden world?

I was invited by Crunchyroll to meet the English dub voice actors Lew Temple (“The Walking Dead”) Jason Douglas (“The Walking Dead“) and Maria Dalilah of Nyaight of the Living Cat. They all discussed their characters and what it would mean to be in a world of “No Cat, No Life” Delilah spoke about her development in the series and the physical comfort while voice recording. Douglas discussed the informative side of “Kunagi.” Temple gave his thoughts on whether “Tanishi” may have wanted to be converted to a cat.

Nyaight of the Living Cat began airing on July 6 (the English dub began on July 20) and is streaming only on Crunchyroll. New episodes, subbed and dubbed, premiere on Sundays
