Liam Neeson Talks Conditions To Return To Star Wars – But We Think It’s A White Lie

Qui-Gon Jinn himself, Liam Neeson talks conditions to return to Star Wars. As you’ll see from the quote below, Neeson said he’d only consider a return for a ‘big screen’ adventure. Erm, well, considering we have it on very good authority from more than one source that Neeson appears in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, I think he may be telling a little white lie to throw us off the case. Neeson recently chatted with ComicBook and here is what the veteran actor had to say about Star Wars.

Asked if he would ever consider a return to Star Wars Neeson replied as follows:

“Oh, I think so, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so … if it was a film. Yeah, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to TV, I must admit, I just like the big screen, you know?” Neeson confirmed with ComicBook.com about a possible return while speaking about his new film Memory. “Qui-Gon, I can’t believe it’s 24 years since we made [Star Wars:] The Phantom Menace, I just cannot believe where the time has gone. It was a terrific experience, shooting that film in London.”

I’m just going to assume Neeson’s comment about being a snob with TV is simply to deflect attention from his upcoming appearance. After all, I just watched Neeson make a guest starring role in a Northern Irish comedy show called Derry Girls this week. This is not the first time Neeson has appeared on TV and from what we hear through the Barside Buzz, related link above, not the last either.

Is this another case of I’m not the werewolf, like happened with Andrew Garfield before No Way Home. Or is the rumor about Neeson’s appearance incorrect. I’ll guess the former, but hey, what do I know? Well, I know MSW has proven to a good source for Kenobi and in fact we stopped sharing their heavy story spoilers here because it got just a little too much for us.

What do you think of all this as Liam Neeson talks conditions to return to Star Wars? Do we think he’s just playing loose with the facts to throw us off the inevitable cameo soon to be seen? Let us know what you think below.
