According to the latest Barside Buzz from regular insider Daniel RPK, Liev Schreiber will reprise his role of Sabretooth in Deadpool 3. The movie, which is rumored to eventually be called Deadpool and Wolverine: Subtitle, is also rumored to feature several actors reprising their roles from the Fox Marvel movies.
According to RPK, Schreiber isn’t just a cameo appearance where we walks past. But it’s also not a huge leading role either. Something in between is what the insider has heard.
Schreiber only played Sabretooth in one movie and it was a bad movie. X-men: Origins, which also gave us the first appearance of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool/Wade wasn’t a great film. However, most fans felt like Schreiber was well cast as Sabretooth and far superior to the version that appeared in the original X-Men movie. Sadly, after that, there was no more Schreiber. However, I would be happy to see the popular actor back, even if it’s a smaller role.

There are a few things we know about Deadpool 3 because filming was underway and cancelled once the strike began. We know that Emma Corrin is playing a villain, rumored to be the biological twin of Professor X. We have rumors of several X-Men alumni returning to the movie. Additionally, we also know for a fact that Loki’s TVA are involved in the movie heavily. In this context Schrieber makes a lot of sense. However, this is just a rumor and until there is something more official, take it with a pinch of salt.
