Fans of cinema no doubt know about the various contributions of the world-renowned Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). The special effects, animation, and production division of Lucasfilm. Over the last few decades, they were the first in developing various technics to bring some of your favorite films to life. While they may be very well known for Star Wars their reach goes far beyond that franchise. They also had a hand in the success of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Willow, Jurassic Park, and The Mummy to name a few.
In case you’re not familiar with ILM, don’t worry Disney+ has you covered! At the end of this month, they will be premiering a new six-part series titled, Light & Magic. Today we are excited to share with you a trailer for the immersive series below!
As you can see this is going to be a documentary that you’re not going to want to miss. The documentary will be taking us to the reason why George Lucas and others felt the need to create this company. How the passion for filmmaking and not allowing the limitations of that time stop them from creating the pieces of art that they had envisioned.
